What's On

Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham, the masterminds behind Mary’s, The Unicorn, Mary’s Pizzeria and The Lansdowne, are invigorating Sydney nightlife once again, with the opening of their new live music venue Mary’s Underground.

Their new venue will be inhabiting where The Basement once was, bringing the live music right back into the middle of 7 Macquarie Place.

Following on from their immensely successful live music pubs The Lansdowne and The Unicorn, guests can expect a wide variety of music at Mary’s Underground. Rock n roll, blues, whacked-jazz, bluegrass, hip hop and electro will all be having their place in this new home of music.

Mary’s Underground will be a two-speed venue with a fast, casual bar serving burgers, beers and fried chicken upstairs with a more intimate “classic Euro-American cuisine” restaurant downstairs where live music will play a vital role.

Mary's have officially opened their upstairs venue with the Basement set to open end of May 2019
